American artists of the 19th and 20th century have numerous items displayed at the West Valley Art Museum. Such works include Henry Poor's Impressionist paintings and drawings, as well as the etching of George Resler. These artists represent over 800 paintings, prints, and drawings found specifically at West Valley Art.

Lake Pleasant offers DUKW (pronounced “duck”) tours year-round. This vehicle was originally used in WWII to haul supplies. The 2.5 ton amphibious means of transportation has been rebuilt by the owner of the Arizona Ducks. Have fun storming the beach and immediately launching into the water! A fairly mild ride will still have you hanging on for an hour and twenty minute adventure!
